ReBaroque speakers

 Rebecca Paul and Mikal Hameed have launched ReBaroque speakers. The finished product is a marriage of a classic baroque frame in an unconventional color, one of a kind fabric, discarded pieces of wood, and speakers.

“Our sound panels are the result of our combined knowledge of fine art, music, technology and sustainable design. Our goal was to produce a product that allows you to use your smart device to interact with the space you live in and redefine how we think about music and our homes.”

Rodarte x Knoll Luxe

Clothing label Rodarte has collaborated with Knoll Luxe (www.knoll-luxe.com), a luxury textile division of the furniture company Knoll Inc.  Knoll Textile’s creative director and the mastermind behind Knoll Luxe  was intrigued by the Mulleavys’ affinity for textiles and invited them to design a line of textiles that will make their debut in early May. (Knoll Luxe will open a showroom in the D&D Building in New York at the same time.) The collection’s eight fabrics — three for drapery and five for upholstery — are named after the Mulleavys’ favorite poets.

Madame de Pompadour (née Poisson) – Cindy Sherman

In commemoration of Madame de Pompadour (née Poisson) – famous courtesan and mistress of King Louis XV of France – Cindy Sherman has cast herself in the role of Pompadour in this exquisite 21-piece tea set. Made from Limoges porcelain, after the original design commissioned by Pompadour in 1756, creative chameleon Sherman challenges the idea of identity and ownership, utilizing a complex photo-silkscreen process to replace the courtesan’s portrait with her own. Signed and numbered by the artist, the tea set is available in a range of colours: apple green, rose, royal blue, and yellow. Each colour has been produced in a limited edition of 75.

The cover with visible seams can only be made with suitable fabrics and with any kind of leather. If different fabrics are utilised, classic stitching will be made. We do not recommend fabrics that are too lightweight. The cover is fully removable. The collection is now available in "Outdoor" version. Zoe Outdoor is delivered with water repellent fabrics, covers are sewed with special mould resistant yarn.

Marco Zito Flap Lamp

Flap appears at first like a piece of contemporary art with its irregular geometric lines, decorating the walls in an interplay of light and shade.

The light source is formed by Flap's two overlaid metal surfaces which, thanks to a slight bend and the irregular overlay, provide a strong personality to a lamp of striking simplicity. When lit, the piece creates a new visual perception as there appear to be four surfaces. This is due to the effect the backlit shadows create on the different surfaces of the lamp and projected onto the wall.

Flap is an ideal element for wall compositions, and when used in multiples it can create a unique and unusual light sculpture suitable for both residential and contract environments. It is available in three sizes, each one characterised by the special proportions that make every variation of Flap unique.

Armani/Dada

The Armani Group and the Molteni Group announce the formation of a joint partnership for the future production and distribution of kitchen systems under the brand name “Armani/Dada”. The “Bridge” kitchen system was the first Armani kitchen concept to be produced by Dada, the result of a long term collaboration that now envisages the development of additional systems for both the residential and contract sectors.

Milan, 15th December 2008 – The Armani Group and Molteni Group announce the formation of a joint partnership for the future production and distribution of kitchen systems. This collaboration will result in a new line Armani/Dada.
